Zoom: Share iPad and laptop screen at the same time

You may wish to show something on your iPad to students you are currently sharing your computer screen. In other words, you want to share (see) both screens at the same time.  However, iOS devices can not use the multiple screen share option in Zoom. But there is a simple way to do this using Quicktime:
  1. Connect your iPad to your computer with a USB cable.
  2. If you are prompted to "Trust" your devices, you should click "Trust" on both your computer and your iPad.
  3. Once your iPad is connected, start up Quicktime.
  4. In Quicktime, go to File > New Movie Recording
  5. Look for the red record button. Next to this button is a little arrow.
  6. Click the little arrow to open recording options.
  7. In the camera section, choose your iPad rather than your built-in camera.
  8. The Quicktime window will change and show your iPad screen.
  9. You can now use your iPad normally and it will show in real time on your computer screen.
