Activate Breakout Rooms
In order to use the Breakout Rooms feature in Zoom, you must enable this feature within your account. You will need to log into the web portal for your account to access the settings.
1. Go to https://zoom.us/profile/setting and login if necessary.
2. Click on the "In Meeting (Advanced)" option in the center column.
3. In the right column, you should see an toggle for "Breakout rooms". Make sure this toggle is on. You may also want to check the box next to the "Allow host to assign participants to breakout rooms when scheduling" as well.
You will now see the breakout rooms option in your meeting window.
NOTE: Breakout room participants have full audio, video, and screen share capabilities.
