How to backup iMovie Projects to Google Drive

Updated:

Video clips that you create in iMovie are saved as a project. This project file is a bundle of files and is what you should backup. This will allow you to move the project to another iPad. You can not open an iMovie project file without iMovie.

1. Open iMovie on your iPad to see the projects you have created.

3. Tap the share icon (middle one of the three icons) at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the share options. Tap the "Export Project" option. Do not click on a Drive icon.
