How to backup documents in the Files app to Google Drive

Almost every App on your iPad has the ability to "Share" a file. The Share option allows you to send the files to Google Drive. This. article shows you how to do this from the Files app.

1. Open up your Files App on your iPad.

Browse under the Locations or Favorites to locate the file you wish up upload.

2. Tap the Select button in the upper right corner. This will allow you to select one or more files. Tap the file to mark as selected.

3. Tap the "Share" button in the lower left corner. Scroll the app options to locate Drive. Tap on Drive as the place to share to.

4. Use the options to select the location in Drive where you wish to save your file(s). Then click the "Upload" button.
