In the Spring/Summer your iPad will be collected and any new iPadOS will be installed. 

The process to switch to the new remote management tool WILL ERASE ALL DATA ON YOUR IPAD. Any data that you have on the iPad will be deleted. This includes photos, songs, movies, files, and any content stored in an application. If you want to keep anything that is on your iPad you will need to back this data up to Google Drive.

(for Faculty) You must sign out of your Apple ID. Please read related article.

Note: You can not use the backup process that Apple uses to create a file that can be used to restore your iPad. It will not work with our management tool.    

The articles in this section will cover the process to backup your data from specific applications into your Google Drive.
