Password Safety

Updated:

Hey everyone!

Today's tech tip is all about passwords. Without a strong password, others could use your accounts to do all sorts of nefarious things! Specifically, here are some do's and don't full from this article on how you can best manage your passwords:

DON'T:

1: Write your password down and stick it to your monitor
2: Share your password with others
3: Use the same password for every account
DO:
1: Choose a secure password. Jason sent this great article with tips on how to do that.
2: Use different passwords for each account.
3: Use a secure password manager so you don't have to remember all of these different passwords.
The article above recommends "1password," "Encryptr," or "Roboform." Next week, I'll send out another tech tip with more on password managers!
Don't hesitate to contact Jason or myself with questions! Have a great week!
