Hello everyone!
Have you ever pasted something from the internet into a Word Document or Google Doc, but when you do it, the formatting is all wonky?? And it throws off your entire document?? There's a way to avoid that!
When you paste, use the shortcut:
command + shift + V
This is paste without formatting. It means whatever weird line spacing or font that website had will go away, and the text will be converted to the same line spacing and font as your document. Wowie! You can also go to "Edit" and "Paste Without Formatting" to get this done.
Happy copy-and-pasting, and don't forget to cite your sources!
