Viewing and Editing Course Requests and Recommendations

Once you've entered your course recommendations (instructions here), you may want to spot check your work or go back and change something. 

  • Go to Academics > Scheduling > Requests and Schedules
  • At the top of the page, change the year to the upcoming school year
  • Under the Course requests box on the right, click where it says requests

At this point, you will see a list of requests. Note that the default will show you requests and not recommendations though it appears the default may change once you've changed your filters to find different results). Also, you can change the sorting of the list by clicking on the column headings.

If you want to change these requests:

  • Find the student in the list (you can use the Find in list search box)
  • Click on the three dots ... to the left of the student's name
  • Select Edit requests and recommendations 
  • Scroll to the bottom and click +Add Recommendation to add a recommendation
  • Use the trash icon to remove a Request or Recommendation

If you would rather view recommendations, you'll need to change the filters, which can be tricky.

  • Click on Filters
  • Click on Requests
  • Click the x to remove Pending and Approved from the Select requests status filter. 
  • Click the Select type filter and a window will open. 
  • Check the box for Recommended and uncheck the boxes for Required and Requested and click the Select button.
  • Then click Apply Filters

This will show you all the recommendations. Again, you can use the title columns to sort them. You can use the Find in list function to search for particular students. You can also go back to the Filters and play around to further refine your set of found records.
