General Theater Notes

• Classroom sound and theater sound are now totally separate, so classroom system always AV
• Black “Theater Only” remote--projector
  • On & Standby--just as in classroom. Freeze also works 
• Screen control on catwalk on/near? screen. Hoping to eventually connect to wall near lightswitch
• Mics: Green (#1) and Blue (#2) 
  • On and off switch at bottom, hold until small screen lights
  • Don’t touch the button near the mic top 
  • If it cuts out because battery died (common), replace 2 AA batteries--in sound console 
• Lightswitch is behind curtain 
  • Top switch all the way up
  • Bottom switch all the way off 
  • Middle switch dims, but if you go to far the shut off 

 New Sound System Notes 

1. Turn on using big black switch on upper right 
2. On main control panel screen that appears, control levels for two handheld mics, projector, or bonus bluetooth. Do this by…
   • Highlighting the channel of interest 
   • Twisting black knob at lower right corner of screen to set level 
3. Notes about this: 
   • Mics are turned on by button, not in control panel
   • Keep two projector channels even (they are left and right)
   • Connect to bonus bluetooth by pressing search button on dangling remote. Connect phone etc.  in the usual way on phone “Alto-Btu” 
4. Extra backup channel (plug-in)
   • On a different control panel screen “STX-FX” > Choose iPod 
   • Otherwise works the same
5. Shutting down
   • Press home (top right button of buttons to left of screen)
   • Press shut down and yes 
   • When screen says ok, turn off power at big black switch 
   • Only do this if here late on Friday/weekend
