At Burke, educational videos are available from the Educational Media Shared Drive. First check with the Librarian to see whether we own the video you want to show and in what format. If we do not own the video, the Librarian will purchase it for you.
This article explains how to access educational videos that are available on the Google Educational Media Shared Drive.
We strongly recommend that you copy the video from Educational Media onto your hard drive. Then show it from your laptop, rather than from Drive. This takes the network out of the equation, which should increase speed and stability of the video. When you're done, just delete the video from your hard drive. It will still be on Educational Media the next time you need it.
To access the video, log into Google Drive. Then go to "Shared Drives." Here is the Educational Media folder where you can find videos.
