Your contact information is an important part of your Burke Google account. Your phone number is part of your personal information, but you also have a phone number that is used for 2-step verification. Before you make changes to your Google account, it is a good idea to double check the details within your account.
1. Manage Your Google Account
Once you log into any of the Google applications, such as Mail or Calendar, in a web browser, you can manage your google account by clicking on your icon in the upper right-hand corner and choosing the "Manage your Google Account".
Personal Information
Once you are in the management section of your account, you can see your "Personal info" by choosing this option from the left-hand options. Although this information should be accurate, there is another section to set important account recover information.
Security
Another option is the "Security" section. This is where you should make sure that you have correct phone number(s) in the "2-step verification phones" section. You should also make sure to have a general recovery phone number. Click the arrow for sections to make the necessary edits or additions.
