How to put an iPad in Lost Mode

1.  Log into Jamf using your JAMF credentials

2. Click on the "Mobile Devices" tab.

3. Click the "Search" button. (Do not put anything in the search field.)

You will see the full list of iPads. Look for the iPad on the list. (Try pressing command then F and typing in their name.)

4. Click on the iPad.

5. Click on the "Management" tab.

6. If there are any pending commands or failed commands, press "Cancel All" to clear them.

7. Click "Enable Lost Mode."

8. Fill in the required fields and select the "Enable Lost Mode" button.

9. Please copy the below information into the message and phone sections.

Please return to an administrator of Edmund Burke School

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RESTART OR SHUT DOWN THE IPAD.

That will permanently lock the iPad in lost mode.

our IT Coordinators will unlock the iPad once we receive it.

10. iPad will begin beeping if it was lost on school grounds.
